Robyn Holmberg, M.Ed., RCC, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She received her Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria and has been working in the counselling field since 2006.
Robyn's therapeutic approach is non-judgmental and uses empathy and compassion to assist clients in developing insight and recognizing strengths. She works alongside each client to develop realistic goals and put a plan in place toward the achievement of those goals. Robyn is guided by high ethical standards and evidence based treatment approaches. She utilizes a variety of counselling modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Robyn is experienced in working with both individuals and groups dealing with a variety of concerns. These include depression, anxiety, substance abuse, situational crises, personality disorders, stress management, grief and loss, and mental health concerns during pregnancy and in the post-partum period.
